He fathered eight children, and while his older daughters are now married, his younger sons are still in school, ranging from Grade 5 to Form Three.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eProviding for them has been a significant challenge; as a casual laborer in the \"Jua Kali\" sector and a construction worker, his income is small and unpredictable. There were many days when work was unavailable, forcing the family to sleep hungry, as they refused to turn to crime to solve their problems.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eLife at home was a constant struggle for survival until Dickson met Mama Ibado. He was introduced to the program by a neighbor who informed him that a well-wisher was registering elderly people in need.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSince joining the program, Dickson has seen a great difference in his household. He now receives regular food supplies, including maize flour, porridge flour, rice, sugar, tea leaves, salt, and vegetable oil.
