After finishing his primary education, he remained at home for a while before a friend invited him to Uganda to seek better opportunities.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHe secured a job with East African Airways and worked there for nearly nine years before moving back to join Kakamega General Hospital, where he dedicated thirty-two years of his life working in the stores department until his retirement.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHe married his wife in 1965, and together they raised seven children, consisting of two sons and five daughters. After retiring from his formal job, he returned home to become a full-time farmer, tilling the land for maize, beans, and vegetables to feed his family.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHowever, as he grew older and his physical strength began to fade, providing for his household became a significant challenge. Life became very difficult as he struggled to maintain the farm, and he found himself worrying about where their next meal would come from.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis cycle of hardship changed when he was introduced to the Mama Ibado Charity (MIC) by Ibrahim Mohammed, who guided him toward the seniors feeding program.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSince joining, his life has improved immensely because he no longer has to struggle for basics; he now receives regular supplies of maize flour, rice, sugar, salt, tea leaves, milk, and cooking oil.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHe is deeply grateful to Mama Ibado for this life-changing support, noting that without it, he would not be in the good condition he is in today.
