Isiolo County provides an ideal environment for beekeeping, allowing us to produce high-quality honey that is both healthy and delicious.

We are utilizing the most widely recommended bee-hives, that will offer approximately an output of 9-15 kgs of honey.

About Our Honey

Nestled at the slope of Mt. Kenya, where highlands meet the expansive plains of Isiolo, lies Ibado Farm, a haven for honey lovers. In this land of dry, humid weather and two short rainy seasons, a unique natural phenomenon unfolds. The savanna woodland, adorned with a variety of Acacia trees, undergrowth shrubs, and wildflowers, creates the perfect sanctuary for bees.

Our industrious bees draw nectar from diverse plant species, each contributing to flavors as rich and varied as the landscape. This dedication to natural beekeeping results in a deep brown to sometimes golden yellow elixir capturing the essence of the diverse savanna.
