Hadija Nabangala Musa, 73, has undergone a significant transformation in her life, her story is one of resilience, gratitude, and the tangible difference a helping hand can make.

Hadija, born into a family of four children, received only four years of formal education. Her path soon led to marriage and motherhood, where she raised eight children, though two have since passed away. Today, she shares her home with her six surviving children and six grandchildren, a testament to her enduring role as a matriarch.

Life for Hadija was previously marked by considerable hardship. She never had the opportunity for formal employment, and the passing of her husband left her as the sole provider for her large family, often with limited resources.
The turning point arrived when Mama Ibado Charity offered her a helping hand, it brought immense relief and happiness into Hadija's life.

“The support is both consistent and comprehensive” She says. Every month, Hadija receives essential foodstuffs. This regular provision has significantly eased the burden of feeding her family, ensuring consistent access to food for herself and her grandchildren.

Beyond food, she also accesses healthcare services through Mama Ibado weekly clinics, accessing necessary check-ups and medicine to serve her aging body. This access to healthcare has eliminated the previous struggle of seeking medical attention at distant hospitals, providing considerable peace of mind.

The constant worry that once defined her days has significantly diminished, and she no longer experiences the same level of struggle she faced previously.
