Ludia Mohamed has endured a life marked by hardship, sacrifice, and resilience. For many years, she worked for other people while she still had the strength and energy, doing everything she could to provide food for her children and keep her family going despite difficult circumstances.

Her marriage eventually ended in divorce, leaving her solely responsible for raising her children on her own. Although she once had many children, only four are now living with her. Determined to provide for them, Ludia continued working tirelessly, often leaving her children at home as she went out to look for work and earn a living. Despite the many hardships she has faced, Ludia remains deeply faithful and grateful for every new day. She says that simply being able to sleep peacefully at night and wake up well in the morning is something she thanks God for. Relief finally came when she was enrolled as a SHA beneficiary. She registered at the SHA offices and has since been able to access medical care and treatment whenever she falls ill. She recently visited the office clinic, where she received treatment and support for her condition.

Ludia also became a beneficiary of Mama Ibado Charity’s food support program for seniors. The support has brought her comfort and dignity during one of the most difficult periods of her life. She expresses deep gratitude for the assistance she now receives, saying that having access to food and healthcare has eased her burdens significantly.

“Since I started receiving food support, I am grateful. When I am sick, I can go to the hospital, and I also have food at home. Now I can finally rest,” she says.

Today, Ludia Mohamed continues to rely on the support of Mama Ibado Charity as she navigates old age, illness, and economic hardship.
