Munene Mboroki was born and raised in Isiolo, a place he has always called home. In his younger years, he worked with the Ministry of Works, a job that gave him stability and a sense of purpose. But in 1980, everything changed. Munene, along with many others, was laid off, leaving him without a source of income. Life became uncertain, and he had to find new ways to survive.
Determined to keep moving forward, Munene bought a piece of land where he now lives. There, he began rebuilding his life, hoping to create a safe and stable home.
